David founded RE-aim Ltd in 2019, following a 20 year career in the real estate industry.
Prior to RE-aim, David was an equity partner and senior member of the European Real Estate team at InfraRed Capital Partners, the global real asset investment manager. David was responsible for business development within the European Real Estate team, in addition to leveraging his expertise and network to formulate investment strategies and originating deal flow.
Whilst at InfraRed, David led the successful establishment of a Pan-European private equity fund, the InfraRed Urban Logistics Income Fund (IULIF). This included securing InfraRed’s largest single commitment to a real estate fund and was the first fund raised in parallel to InfraRed’s established ‘Active Funds’ series.
David also gained experience in the public equity markets at InfraRed through formulating an investment strategy and capital raising for a UK REIT, which although ultimately withdrawn, provided significant insight into the quoted real estate and investment company sector.
Prior to InfraRed, David worked at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) for some 16 years where he undertook roles in the UK and Asia. His last role with JLL was leading its North Asia Capital Markets team based in Hong Kong, prior to that David led JLL’s UK Shopping Centre Investment practice.
David is a highly experienced real estate professional with multi-sector experience of operating in the UK and in several Asian markets. He has a track record of delivering large-scale and complex transactions and has an extensive network of UK and international relationships.
David graduated from the University of Reading with a BSc (hons) in Land Management, holds the Investment Management Certificate and is an FCA Approved Person.
